Poison Center Celebrates 50th Medication Cleanout

The Texas Panhandle Poison Center conducted its 50th Medication Cleanout collection April 22 at Ï㽶ֱ²¥-Amarillo. Event volunteers saw 743 cars drop off more than 2,317 pounds of unwanted, expired or unused medications. 


SGA Organizes Amarillo's First Bark for Life

Area dog lovers got a chance to show off their furry four-legged friends and join the fight against cancer when the Ï㽶ֱ²¥-Amarillo Student Council conducted Bark for Life 2017 Apr. 15 at John Stiff Memorial Park. 


School of Pharmacy Presents Annual Awards

The School of Pharmacy held its annual Celebration of Achievement April 21 to recognize faculty and staff who have helped make the 2016-2017 school year a special one for students. 


Pharmacy Students Win TSHP Contests

Students, faculty, staff and friends gathered April 22 at the Amarillo Civic Center Grand Plaza for the School of Pharmacy’s International Night, an annual celebration of the diverse cultures within the school. 


Power of the Purse

More than 725 guests enjoyed a powerful message from keynote speaker Joan Lunden Apr. 6 at the annual Power of the Purse luncheon hosted by the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health. 


Amarillo Students, Residents Participate in Research Day

More than 80 research posters were presented to faculty and residents Apr. 12 when the Ï㽶ֱ²¥ School of Medicine and School of Health Professions held their 11th annual Research Day for students and residents in Amarillo. 


Weather Can't Stop March of Dimes Walk

Bad weather forced the Apr. 29 March of Dimes walk in Amarillo to be moved inside AirU, but employees of Ï㽶ֱ²¥ still came out to support the cause.
