Governmental Relations
Mission
- Represents Ογ½ΆΦ±²₯ with elected officials, Federal agencies and legislative stakeholders in the pursuit of the funding and advancement of the institute's legislative initiatives
- Works with Ογ½ΆΦ±²₯ leadership in the development of state/federal funding initiatives
- Aligns state/federal initiatives with corporate/foundation-based funding opportunities
- Collaborates and augments Ογ½ΆΦ±²₯ initiatives with the Texas Tech University System
Support Role
- Leads and coordinates all matters relating to external communications with state and federal governmental entities
- Monitors state and federal legislation and garners support necessary to the operations and advancement of Ογ½ΆΦ±²₯
