School of Medicine in Amarillo Recognizes Residents
The School of Medicine honored its graduating residents June 5 during the 31st annual Resident Recognition Lunch at the Amarillo Country Club. Thirty-two residents who have completed their training were recognized by their respective departments for their service to Ï㽶ֱ²¥ and the Amarillo community. Additionally, several individual residents received special recognition.
Pharmacy Honors Class of 2019 at Graduation Events
The Ï㽶ֱ²¥ Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy celebrated the Class of 2019 on May 18 with its annual awards breakfast and graduation ceremony at the Amarillo Civic Center.
Local Patient Finds an Ally at Ï㽶ֱ²¥
After seeing many doctors to no avail, Canyon resident Ashley Campbell conducted extensive research of her own and discovered her symptoms matched those of Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). She was later surprised to learn a Ï㽶ֱ²¥ pediatrician was conducting POTS research in Amarillo, and has since found an ally in him for treating and managing her symptoms.
School of Pharmacy Recognizes Faculty, Staff
The School of Pharmacy on May 10 conducted its annual Celebration of Achievement to recognize faculty and staff who helped make the 2018-2019 school year a special one.
Pharmacy Team Wins State Competition
A pair of teams from the Ï㽶ֱ²¥ Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy made a strong showing at the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists (TSHP) Annual Seminar April 12-14 in Frisco, Texas.

Save the Date: Pharmacy White Coat Ceremony
We’ll officially welcome the Amarillo Class of 2023 into the pharmacy program with an Aug. 11 white coat ceremony at the Amarillo Globe-News Performing Arts Center. For incoming students, receiving the white coat is a reminder of the commitment they're making to an honorable and trusted profession.
