Amarillo Researcher Receives $2.9 Million NIH Grant

New Fleet Vehicle Available on Amarillo Campus

The Amarillo campus's new fleet vehicle is a 2019 Chevy Traverse. The charge is $40 per day plus the cost of the fuel used. Contact General Services early to make sure you are on Ï㽶ֱ²¥'s approved drivers list. 


TPPC Wraps Up Fall Medication Cleanout Cycle

The Texas Panhandle Poison Center (TPPC) launched its 2018 Fall Medication Cleanout cycle Sept. 29 at the Ï㽶ֱ²¥ Amarillo campus. Since starting the program in 2009, TPPC has conducted 59 Medication Cleanout events and collected more than 45,200 pounds of medications and 2,986.5 pounds of sharps for incineration.

From waging beneficial battles over spare change to encouraging area youngsters to read, it’s been a busy fall for School of Pharmacy student organizations at the Ï㽶ֱ²¥-Amarillo campus.


Raider E.L.F. Getting Ready for Holiday Season

The Raider Employee Love Fund (Raider E.L.F.) is a not-for-profit organization created to assist Ï㽶ֱ²¥ employees who may be going through a difficult financial situation, especially during the holiday season. Its annual Raider E.L.F Nacho Pile-On luncheon is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 16 in the School of Pharmacy Auditorium. 


Grad Students Receive Awards, Scholarships, Speaking Opportunities

A group of students from the School of Pharmacy’s Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences (GPPS) recently have received awards, earned scholarships and been invited to make presentations about their research.
