Peer Facilitator Certificate Requirements
As a peer facilitator you agree to:
1. Attend the scheduled Facilitator Training before the event.
2. Complete the required event specific prework.
3. Attend the event and complete the Event Check-In when logging into the event.
4. Log into your assigned team table.
5. Share your sound and screen with the team.
6. Complete the Activity Check-In during the activity.
7. Facilitate to actively work as a team to complete the activity.
8. Take attendance for yourself and all participants who fully attend and participate
in the event by using the provided QR code.
9. Submit feedback to the IPE office regarding each team’s attendance.
Facilitator Certificate Requirements
In interprofessional education, within the context of faculty team leadership, refers to educational professionals with specialized expertise in cultivating interprofessional collaboration among learners and team members. These leaders play a pivotal role in executing IPE learning objectives, effectively coordinating team performance, and guiding the development of essential interprofessional skills. They actively promote effective communication and teamwork, creating a supportive learning environment. T In addition, they provide oversight for learners engaged in meaningful interdisciplinary experiences, continuously assessing learner outcomes and skill development to ensure the efficacy of the IPE initiatives. Moreover, they assume an active role in team leadership and model high-quality engagement, fostering a shared dedication to IPE objectives and the delivery of patient-centered care.
As a facilitator you agree to:
1. Attend the scheduled Facilitator Training before the event.
2. Complete the required event specific prework.
3. Manage two teams of approximately 8-12 students per team.
4. Float between both teams, virtually, to ensure the teams are completing the activity
on schedule.
5. Select a Student Peer Facilitator, if the assigned student does not attend.
6. Take attendance for yourself and all participants who fully attend and participate
in the event by using the provided QR code.
7. Submit feedback to the IPE office regarding each teams attendance.
Attendance & Engagement
Attendance will be verified by the IPE office following an event and will be based
on the following criteria:
1. Registration
2. Survey Completion
3. Event Check-In
4. Activity Check-In
5. Facilitator Feedback
