Teresa Carlisle

Teresa graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree after which she directed bands for the next nine years. In November 2004, she began working at Ογ½ΆΦ±²₯ in the department office of Pharmaceutical Sciences as a Sr. Business Assistant. The following May, she accepted the position of Graduate Program Coordinator with the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Teresa works in the Graduate Program Office assisting students with the following:
- Corresponds with potential applicants/processes admissions
- Coordinates ABRI summer intern program
- Coordinates New Student Orientation
- Assists with registration issues
- Handles international student issues
- Prepares Student Degree Plans/Progress Reports
- Processes fee waivers
- Processes ePAFs for graduate student payroll
- Schedules Student Advisory Committee Meetings
- Facilitates Dissertation/Thesis and Graduation Process
- Reserves rooms for seminar practice, meetings, defenses, etc.
- Tracks student leave time
Other duties include:
- Prepares graduate course schedule
- Reports class rosters/grades
- Serves as the Secretary for the Graduate Program Committee
- Maintains graduate student records
- Maintains/updates graduate program guidelines/policies
- Maintains SACS Accreditation information in Weave database
