MD Program
Doctor of Medicine
The four-year curriculum consists of years of fundamental principles of medical sciences divided into socket blocks. Students focus on individual areas of curriculum while exploring professional, ethical and clinical areas of medicine through Introduction to Clinical Medicine (ICM) and P3 activities. Flexibility is built into the final year of the medical school curriculum and allows a custom clinical experience focusing on student interest. Learning occurs in classrooms, small group forums and community-based settings.
The four-year curriculum provides a broad introduction to medical knowledge while developing the student's analytical and problem-solving skills. Students will have an opportunity for clinical experiences starting in the first year through formal class work and mentoring by practicing physicians.
