Undergraduate to Medical School Initiative | Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center

Ογ½ΆΦ±²₯

Group of Ογ½ΆΦ±²₯ medical students in the University Center.

About the Program

The Honors College of Texas Tech University and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine offer an exhilarating, competitive undergraduate medical school program designed for motivated, academically talented students interested in pursuing an M.D. degree in Texas. Medical School is one of the most difficult graduate programs to attain, so Ογ½ΆΦ±²₯ designed an initiative that would guarantee admission for a selection of driven, academic undergraduates.
UMSI is not an accelerated 6-year, 7-year, or other type of fast-track program to medical school. After meeting the special medical school requirements and deadlines set by this joint program, a select group of entering freshmen are guaranteed admission to medical school at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine after completion of a Bachelor's Degree at TTU. Combined with undergraduate coursework and medical school, the student is looking at 8 years of study.

We will be hosting Information Sessions for those interested in the program. Please register . Informational flyer here.
