Mohs Fellowship Program | Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center

Ï㽶ֱ²¥

The overall goal of Ï㽶ֱ²¥â€™s fellowship program is to provide comprehensive training in Mohs Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology during the one year of fellowship training that culminates in a dermatologist who is capable of an independent, unsupervised subspecialized practice. This is accomplished through progressive educational milestones that result in increased professional autonomy and confidence throughout training. Included in the 13 Dermatology Residency Review Committee’s procedural dermatology milestones are ACGME’s Six Core Competencies, one of the important evaluation tools used to measure our fellow’s progress through this process of becoming a subspecialized dermatologist who is able to practice in an independent and unsupervised manner, as are specialty specific competencies that are evaluated throughout residency training.
