Advanced Hospital Medicine and Public Health Fellowship
Advance Hospital Medicine and Public Health Fellowship has a 1-year fellowship program in Hospital Medicine. Fellows will receive intensive training in Advanced Hospital Medicine in a Tertiary Care Academic Medical Center and complex Transitional Care for patients in a Public Health setting.

- Will operate under a Trainee License from the TMB
- Full and professional participation in all aspects of program
- Regular attendance at Grand Rounds through Internal Medicine and other appropriate educational programs
- Participation in Annual West Texas Summer Symposium in Hospital Medicine
- Completion and presentation in Quality Metric project or Research Project
- If eligible, intention of completion of RFP in Hospital Medicine Exam if ABFM and taking exam if ABIM
$70,283.84 yearly salary

20 days of paid vacation
$1,250 moving stipend if applicable, upon entrance to the Fellowship
Interested candidates can obtain full reimbursement for obtaining MPH at Texas
Tech University Health Sciences Center
Five days and $1,000 for approved CME courses
Meal card for use in the hospital cafeteria
Parking spaces provided for fellows in UMC hospital parking lot
After six months acceptable progress in program eligible to moonlight, provided fellow
stays in good standing and obtains a full unrestricted independent Texas license
