Division of Infectious Diseases

From inpatient treatment of complicated, multi-drug resistant organisms, to outpatient management of HIV and hepatitis C, faculty in the Division of Infectious Diseases are at the forefront of clinical, translational, and basic science research in the pathogenesis and treatment of infectious diseases. Working alongside our infectious disease pharmacist, our team is also actively engaged in the field of stewardship, helping UMC earn the title of Antimicrobial Stewardship Center of Excellence. Faculty also hold Medical Director roles for the Ογ½ΆΦ±²₯ Office of Institutional Health, Infection Prevention and Control, and the UMC Ambulatory Infusion Center.
