Hi! My name is Nandini Ray, and I am from Amarillo, Texas. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in microbiology and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Tech University prior to entering medical school. During my time as a graduate student, I received the opportunity to work as an Intellectual Property Analyst at the Texas Tech Office of Research Commercialization where I assessed the patentability of various research projects from principal investigators across the TTU System. My prior research experiences include studying the atmospheric microbiome of Texas Tech and the impact of biofilm formation on hospital-acquired Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections. My research interests stem from my passion for the comprehensive nature of care unique to the field of internal medicine and its subspecialties. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, baking, and spending time with my family and friends.
