PharmD/MBA Program
Application Information
** Applicants for the PharmD/MBA Dual Degree Program MUST have a prior baccalaureate or higher degree to be admitted into the program.**
Application to the PharmD/MBA dual degree program follows a two-step process:
- Applicants must apply to PharmCAS and pay a $175 supplemental application fee
- Become Admitted into the Ογ½ΆΦ±²₯ PharmD program
A PharmD/MBA selection committee will review the academic achievement of each candidate and forward a recommendation to the Rawls College of Business and the HOM program. Students should delay completing the Rawls College of Business applications until a determination of School of Pharmacy (SOP) recommendation has been made. If the Committee does not recommend a student apply to the MBA program, the SOP program coordinator will counsel the student on options. The Rawls College of Business and the School of Pharmacy may limit the number of pharmacy students that are allowed to enroll in the MBA.
Ογ½ΆΦ±²₯ School of Pharmacy Notice of Intent
The Ογ½ΆΦ±²₯ School of Pharmacy will usually require completion of a PharmD/MBA application form by the following deadlines:
- March 20 for students applying in the P-0 year (P-0 = Summer term prior to enrollment in PharmD coursework)
- February 15 for students applying in the P1 year
For P0 students interested in the PharmD-MBA program, first apply to PharmCAS and when prompted select the Dual Degree Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)/Masters of Business Admin (MBA) option. This will allow a candidate to get setup with information the PharmD/MBA Selection Committee needs to begin the review process.
If the student is a P1 or a P0 that did not select the MBA option in PharmCAS but changes their mind, the application and acknowledgement forms can be accessed at . This link will provide the candidates with the necessary forms as well as provide a place to upload a resume or curriculum vitae. If the candidate is a P1, then the email will be the HSC email. P0's should be able to complete the form because it is tied to the PharmD application log-in.
