One School, Four Campuses

With four-year campuses in Abilene, Amarillo, and Dallas and a two-year campus in Lubbock, our Pharm.D. students have the opportunity to choose the learning environment that is best for them, and interact with experts, faculty and students from all four campuses across West Texas and the DFW Metroplex. Each of our campuses feature classrooms with the latest sound and projection technology and designated student spaces. On our four-year campuses, you’ll find multiple state-of-the-art laboratories where our students develop new skills with hands-on practice and access to cutting-edge technology and equipment. ABILENE / FOUR-YEAR CAMPUS

Our Abilene campus got its start in 2007. Located on the Abilene Medical Campus, it sits adjacent to Hendrick Health System, giving students convenient access to pharmacy practice opportunities. 

The Abilene campus is also home to the Ï㽶ֱ²¥ School of Nursing, the newly formed Julia Jones Matthews School of Population and Public Health, and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Together, they form a comprehensive academic environment that offers students collaborative experiences. An on-campus state-of-the-art simulation center offers students valuable educational resources, and advanced research facilities provide opportunities for graduate studies in pharmaceutical sciences and biotechnology. Research focuses on discovering innovative cancer treatment strategies including immunotherapeutics. 

AMARILLO / FOUR-YEAR CAMPUS

Our Amarillo campus got its start in 1996 and is the administrative home and founding campus for the School of Pharmacy. Located in the heart of the Amarillo Medical District, it offers students access to three major hospitals, a variety of clinics, as well as pharmacy practice opportunities just across the street from campus. Within the main School of Pharmacy building, you will find the and the Texas Pharmacy Museum. 

The Amarillo campus is also home to Ï㽶ֱ²¥ Schools of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Professions; the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences; the TTU School of Veterinary Medicine. An on-campus state-of-the-art simulation center and advanced educational technology offer students valuable educational resources using anatomage tables, high-fidelity simulators and simulated patients. Advanced research facilities provide opportunities for graduate studies in pharmaceutical sciences, and allow for cutting-edge research focused on medicinal chemistry, blood-brain barrier, stroke, cancer, neuropathic pain and addiction.

DALLAS / FOUR-YEAR CAMPUS

Our Dallas campus got its start 1999 and, thanks to a recent remodel, it has the newest facilities of any of our campuses. It features two campus locations, one in the Medical Park District and one at the VA Medical Center. Positioned in the Metroplex, it offers extensive cutting-edge pharmacy practice opportunities with area hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, extended care facilities, and industrial institutions; as well as collaboration with multiple medical centers across the Metroplex. 

The Dallas campus is also home to the Ï㽶ֱ²¥ School of Nursing and offers postgraduate training and experiences in diverse areas to prepare for specialty practice and research careers. Exposure to real-world experiences is emphasized at the Dallas campus so that our students may better understand and can meet the challenges of our ever-evolving profession. Research focuses for the campus include clinical pharmacology and experimental therapeutics. 

LUBBOCK / TWO-YEAR CAMPUS

Our Lubbock campus got its start in 1998 and is located at the Lubbock Medical Center. Located in the main Ï㽶ֱ²¥ building, the Lubbock campus deploys students to clinical sites in the surrounding region, and enjoys the perks of being near the Texas Tech University’s main campus. 

In addition to the School of Pharmacy, the Lubbock campus is also home to Ï㽶ֱ²¥ Schools of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Professions, and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, creating a collaborative environment for students from a variety of health disciplines. The School of Pharmacy faculty in Lubbock have a variety of clinical focuses, including adult internal medicine, primary care, geriatrics, pediatrics, community pharmacy, and infectious disease research.
