Application Process
The Department of Internal Medicine only accepts applications through the (ERAS). Information about the service may be obtained from your Dean's Office or from the (AAMC). International medical graduates may obtain information about ERAS through the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).

Application Requirements

- ERAS Application
- Medical School Transcripts
- USMLE Score Reports
- Dean's Letter
- Three (3) Recommendation Letters
- Personal Statement
- USMLE scores of 220 or higher on first attempt preferred.
- US clinical experience is preferred.
- Medical school graduation within the last five years is preferred.
- Ογ½ΆΦ±²₯ policy mandates that only be sponsored for physicians in training. Ογ½ΆΦ±²₯ will accept . Candidates requiring visa sponsorship should provide specific information in their application.
- Applicants must be eligible for a Texas Medical Board Physician in Training permit.

Interview Process
The Internal Medicine Residency Program will be conducting virtual-only interviews this year. Invitations will be sent to applicants.
