Larry Combest Community Health and Wellness Center
The Larry Combest Community Health and Wellness Center, a nurse-run clinic, provides
access to comprehensive health services to those in need as a way to reduce or eliminate
health disparities among high risk populations, and to integrate student clinical
experiences and faculty practice in effective delivery of health care services.
The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing Global Health
Initiative immerses students into a global experience to create a sustainable framework
that builds interprofessional teamwork, develops student capacity and advances global
health.
Ï㽶ֱ²¥ Simulation Programs
The simulation centers located on the Lubbock, Abilene, Amarillo and Odessa campuses
promote simulation-based intra and interprofessional education.
Career Services
The School of Nursing Career Services empowers students and alumni to actively explore,
pursue and implement career and educational decisions.
Student Success Program
Retention counselors are available to help students to learn how to be successful,
not just in nursing school, but in building the foundation for a rewarding career
in nursing.
The Dean's Ambassadors act as a liaison between the School of Nursing and prospective
and current students, their families, guests, alumni and friends of the school.
